Opportunities exist for prime spaces in soon-to-be renovated mall

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Sept. 22, 2008) – News of the La Palmera franchise fair scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, has franchise owners from surrounding markets seeking the opportunity to expand.

“We expected the interest in La Palmera franchise opportunities to be good,” said Trademark Property Founding Partner Terry Montesi. “The unexpected element to all of this is that so many existing franchisees from other markets have asked to meet with us. It’s very encouraging to know they recognize La Palmera and Corpus Christi as a viable business opportunity.”

The event, which runs 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., is being held in the center court area of the mall and is open to both local entrepreneurs and franchisees from other markets as well as national franchisors.  In addition to franchise information, tours of the new food court, future restaurant sites and retail space will be available.

Although retail space remains limited, there are a few opportunities available in the newly designed aquatic-themed food court. Featuring a large aquarium and upgraded seating, the area is scheduled for completion in summer 2009. There are also plans for additional specialty food and retail throughout the mall. Once all renovations are completed in fall 2009, La Palmera will be home to more than a dozen dining and specialty food locations.
