Tide Turners Learn All About Safety

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - This month is all about safety for members of the Tide Turners Kids Club. The Corpus Christi Police Department - Crime Division and Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District (CCNHD) will co-host the August 4 event from 10 a.m. - noon in the West Court near Forever XXI.
All members are invited to come out for a fun-filled morning that includes a visit from McGruff the Crime DogTM as well as a Stranger Danger presentation from the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD). Kids will also enjoy story time with CCPD officers.
The CCNHD will be on site providing Dtap, Hib, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, IPV, MMR & Pneumococcal vaccines. Each shot ranges from $10 to $30; accepted forms of payment are Medicaid, CHIP and cash only.
The morning also includes a variety of coloring activities, complimentary refreshments (while supplies last) and the opportunity to play a few rounds of Candyland, provided by Bourbon Street Candy Co. Tide Turners are also invited to stop by Great American Cookie Co. for cookie decorating.
