LOOKING FOR A NEW JOB? LA PALMERA IS HIRING
Healthy turnout expected for Oct. 19 La Palmera Job Fair

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Oct. 13, 2009) - As the economy begins to show signs of improvement, many of La Palmera's 100 stores and restaurants are now beginning to fill positions for the holiday shopping season. To assist their tenants with a concerted effort, La Palmera will host the first ever La Palmera Job Fair on Monday, Oct. 19 during regular mall hours.

"Finding that many of our stores were ready to start their holiday hiring is a positive sign," said La Palmera General Manager Fred Walters. "We felt providing a collective effort as a job fair would provide a bigger impact and bring in more prospective employees. We are hoping it will be successful for the stores as well as our local residents who may be looking for work."

Stores with job openings will be set up at a table located in front of their store where prospective employees can talk with store reps and fill out applications. The La Palmera Job Fair will be held during regular mall hours, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
