CORNER BAKERY CAFÉ OPENS AT THE SHOPS AT LA PALMERA

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (July 1, 2013) – Corner Bakery Café, the popular fast-casual restaurant, opened today at The Shops at La Palmera in Corpus Christi, Texas, the first new tenant to open in the development, currently under renovation.

Serving its signature fresh and made-to-order food, the 4,166-square-foot Corner Bakery Café opened at 6:30 a.m. to waiting guests, with the first 100 customers through the door receiving a commemorative Corner Bakery Café travel mug and free daily refills of hand-roasted coffee for one year. This is the first Corner Bakery location for the Coastal Bend area of Texas.

Corner Bakery offers a casual atmosphere featuring innovative, seasonal menu options ranging from hot breakfasts and signature paninis to handcrafted salads, sandwiches and mouthwatering sweets. Corner Bakery Café currently delivers its premier bakery cafe experience in 140 locations across the country.

Renovation and construction work continues at The Shops at La Palmera, which is owned by Trademark and Institutional Mall Investors LLC, with completion slated for late 2013. The new design of the property will complement that of La Palmera, the super-regional mall located across from The Shops at La Palmera. La Palmera underwent a two-year $50 million renovation after Trademark and Institutional Mall Investors LLC purchased the property in 2008.
