TRADEMARK ANNOUNCES DSW DESIGNER SHOE WAREHOUSE COMING TO THE SHOPS AT LA PALMERA IN CORPUS CHRISTI

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 29, 2013) – Trademark Property Company, the Fort Worth-based real estate development, investments, and services firm, today announced DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, a leading branded footwear and accessories retailer, will open at The Shops at La Palmera, a 200,000-square-foot outdoor shopping center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Construction has begun on the 18,000-square-foot DSW, which is located adjacent to Catherine’s. This is the first Corpus Christi location for DSW Inc., which is scheduled to open in early 2014.

A popular destination for savvy shoe lovers, DSW Inc. offers a wide selection of brand name and designer dress, casual and athletic footwear and accessories for women, men and kids. DSW Inc. operates 376 stores in 42 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

Four previously announced tenants – Jared the Galleria of Jewelry, Dick’s Sporting Goods, T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods – are under construction and slated to open this fall, while Corner Bakery Café opened July 1.

The Shops at La Palmera is located across from La Palmera, a 1-million-square-foot super regional mall which underwent a two-year $50 million renovation after Trademark and Institutional Mall Investors LLC purchased the property in 2008.
