Today’s Vision announces first Corpus Christi location

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (October 7, 2014) – Chipotle Mexican Grill is preparing to open at The Shops at La Palmera.

Located in a new building near Dick’s Sporting Goods, Chipotle will open the new 2,100-square-foot store Thursday, October 9, at 11 a.m.

This is the first Corpus Christi location for Chipotle, known for its made-to-order burritos, bowls, tacos, and salads. The company is also dedicated to “Food with Integrity,” supporting and sustaining family farmers who respect the land and the animals in their care, and serving the very best sustainably raised food including the use of locally grown organic produce whenever possible. Hours for the new Chipotle will be 11 a.m.-7 p.m., seven days a week.

“Chipotle is a great addition to The Shops at La Palmera,” said Fred Walters, general manager of La Palmera and The Shops at La Palmera. “The La Palmera Shopping District continues to attract top retail and restaurants making it the top shopping district in Corpus Christi. As the renovation work begins to wind down over the next couple of months, we will continue to see the addition of new tenants.”

Shoppers will soon have another eye care option with the addition of Today’s Vision (2,069 sf). Scheduled to open this fall at The Shops at La Palmera, Today’s Vision staff of eye doctors are trained to diagnose and/or treat dry eye, allergies, infections, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, among other eye diseases as well as co-manage LASIK surgery, and provide diagnostic testing.

Construction also will soon begin on The Beef Jerky Outlet (1,500 sf) and Dickey’s Barbecue Pit (2,500 sf).
