Cupid Concierge offers gift-buying advice; charity gift wrapping planned

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (February 5, 2015) – If you’re looking for a special gift this Valentine’s Day, La Palmera can help with advice on what to get and where to get it, a way to have it beautifully wrapped, and even a rose to top it all off.

This year, Valentine’s shoppers can get a little extra help from “Cupid Concierge,” who will be available on La Palmera’s social media platforms February 8-14. Cupid will provide helpful gift suggestions each day, post photos of gift ideas found around La Palmera and The Shops at La Palmera, and share helpful information on Valentine’s promotions from various stores via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Cupid will also field shopping questions from 2-6 p.m. each of those days.

Once they find the right gift, shoppers will be able to get them wrapped with La Palmera’s popular charity gift-wrapping service for Valentine’s Day. Located on the Main Level near Concierge, volunteers from The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center of Corpus Christi will be on site February 7-8, and Dress for Success will be on hand February 12-14, each providing their wrapping services for donations from noon-6 p.m. each day.

La Palmera will be giving away a Valentine’s Day gift package valued at more than $700. Shoppers can enter through February 12, on site at participating stores including Aveda Institute Corpus Christi, Bourbon Street Candy Co., Great American Cookies, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, JCPenney (fine jewelry department), Pandora, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Sun Optics, as well as online at lapalmera.com.  The winner will be announced February 13 on La Palmera’s Facebook page.

Guests using the La Palmera valet parking service on Valentine’s Day will also receive a red rose, while supplies last.
