CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Feb. 28, 2017) – Easter is April 16 and the Easter Bunny will soon be hopping into La Palmera.
To celebrate, La Palmera will host a special Tide Turners Kids Club event on Tuesday, March 7, from 10 a.m.–noon in Center Court to welcome the Easter Bunny. Designed for kids 5 and under, the free event includes a visit from the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, face painting, games and more, plus the first 100 children will receive a goodie bag.
There will be a second Tide Turners event with the Easter Bunny as La Palmera hosts a special Breakfast with the Easter Bunny Pajama Party on Tuesday, April 4, 10 a.m.–noon in Center Court. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite bunny slippers and PJs for this free event, which again includes a visit from the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, story time, refreshments and more.
The Easter Bunny will be in Center Court at La Palmera through Saturday, April 15, for photos during regular mall hours. Guests can reserve a time for their visit by going online to lapalmera.com and click on the Easter Bunny Photos button near the bottom of the homepage, or Easter Bunny Photos under the Events section.
Pet lovers can also bring their favorite canine or kitty for photos on one of six “Pet Night with the Easter Bunny” events. Pet Nights are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 14 and 15, March 28 and 29, and April 11 and 12 from 5–8 p.m., with a portion of the photo proceeds benefitting local animal organizations. Only dogs and cats are permitted and all animals must remain on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
