Final Pet Nights March 28–29 and April 11–12; children’s events April 2, 3 and 4

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (March 28, 2017) – Easter is Sunday, April 16, and La Palmera is providing guests a number of opportunities to meet and interact with the Easter Bunny, who will be in Center Court through Saturday, April 15, for photos during regular mall hours.

Guests who wish to skip the line can always pre-pay for their photo package and reserve a time for their visit by going online to lapalmera.com and clicking on the Easter Bunny Photos button near the bottom of the homepage, or Easter Bunny Photos under the Events section. Photo packages start at $24.99.

La Palmera has scheduled a number of events as well including the final four “Pet Night with the Easter Bunny” events on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 28 and 29, and April 11 and 12, from 5–8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local organizations helping animals: Mission Pawsible (3/28 and 29), For the Love of Strays (4/11) and Kanines & Kitties (4/12). Pets must remain on a leash or in a carrier; dogs and cats only, please.

There are several special events also planned for younger guests including Bunny Cares, a program designed for special needs children and their families to spend some quiet one-on-one time for photos with the Easter Bunny. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 2, from 9–11 a.m. before the mall opens — no fountain, no background music and no crowds — providing a sensory-friendly environment and extra time for those who may have developmental or physical challenges. Provided in partnership with AbilityPath.org, Autism Speaks and The Noerr Programs, which oversees photo programs at La Palmera, families can go online to bunny-cares.com to sign up and reserve their visit time.

On Monday, April 3, guests can enjoy a special treat before or after their visit with the Easter Bunny as La Palmera hosts a free petting zoo from 6–8 p.m. adjacent to Center Court. Guests will be able to pet ducks, pigs, chickens, bunnies and baby goats while roaming the mini-barnyard in Center Court.

On Tuesday, April 4, La Palmera invites its youngest shoppers to a special Breakfast with the Easter Bunny Pajama Party from 10 a.m.–noon in Center Court as part of the monthly Tide Turners Kids Club event. Designed for kids 5 and under who are encouraged to wear their favorite bunny slippers and PJs, this free event includes a visit from the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, face painting, story time, refreshments and more.
