“Pet Nights” return Feb. 20–23; special children’s event planned for March 6

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Feb. 12, 2018) – The coming of spring also means it’s Easter Bunny time at La Palmera.

The Easter Bunny will make his annual arrival at La Palmera on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 18. The fun starts at 2 p.m. in Center Court followed by an afternoon of free fun for the kids, including an appearance by Shopkins’ Apple Blossom and Kooky Cookie, arts and crafts (while supplies last), entertainment and more.

Easter is Sunday, April 1, and the Easter Bunny will be available to meet boys and girls and pose for photos through Saturday, March 31, in Center Court during mall hours. Once the Easter Bunny arrives, guests who wish to skip the line can get a Fast Pass, allowing them to pre-pay for their photo package and reserve a time for their visit. Guests can go online to lapalmera.comand click on the Easter Bunny Photos button near the bottom of the homepage to reserve their time. Photo packages start at $24.99.

The popular “Pet Night with the Easter Bunny” events helping local animal organizations will return as well. Guests may bring their favorite dog or cat for photos Tuesday, Feb. 20, through Friday, February 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. Only dogs and cats are permitted and all animals must remain on a leash or in a carrier at all times.

La Palmera will also host a special breakfast with the Easter Bunny event on Tuesday, March 6, as part of the monthly Tide Turners Kids Club event for kids 5 and under. Held in Center Court from 10 a.m. till noon, the event is free and includes arts and crafts, games, snacks and more. The Easter Bunny will meet and greet party guests to kick off the event and then hop back to his traditional garden spot in Center Court for photos.
