New tenant named as redevelopment of mall continues
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (March 19, 2018) – Ongoing redevelopment of La Palmera is making way for new retail and dining options, including the Coastal Bend’s first Dave & Buster’s.
Located near the mall’s main entrance, Dave & Buster’s is the first new tenant to be announced as part of La Palmera’s planned expansion and redevelopment, which started in fall of 2017. The approximately 18,000-square-foot restaurant and gaming center will offer guests a combination of the latest state-of-the-art games, ultimate sports-viewing on massive HDTVs with stadium sound, extraordinary food from wings to steaks, and remarkable drinks. Dave & Buster’s is tentatively scheduled to open in time for the 2018 holiday season.
“Dave and Buster’s will be a great addition to La Palmera,” said Fred Walters, vice president and general manager of La Palmera. “It’s exciting that we’ll have this whole new element of dining and entertainment available for our guests and it’s the first of many such options we’ll be announcing as part of our ongoing mall redevelopment.”
Meanwhile, other dining and retail options have opened including the 1,600-square-foot Kendra Scott jewelry boutique on Center Court, as well as Steak n’ Shake, which is now serving its signature steakburgers and shakes to crowds of hungry shoppers in the 600-seat La Palmera Cafes food court. Perfect Brow and Relaxology, both relocating to new expanded locations, are currently operating out of temporary locations and will soon be open in new storefront locations within the mall.
