Easter Bunny Brings Spring Fun to La Palmera Beginning March 10

Multiple events planned through April 20

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (March 1, 2019) – Spring is just around the corner and so is the arrival of the Easter Bunny at La Palmera.

To celebrate, La Palmera will host a special party on Sunday, March 10, from 2–5 p.m. in Center Court. The event is free and includes the arrival of the Easter Bunny along with a petting zoo, face painting, a balloon artist, as well as arts and crafts (while supplies last).

Easter is Sunday, April 21, and the Easter Bunny will be available to meet boys and girls and pose for photos through Saturday, April 20, in Center Court during mall hours. Once the Easter Bunny arrives, guests who would like a shorter wait can get a Fast Pass, allowing them to reserve at time for their visit and pre-pay for their photo package. Guests can go online to lapalmera.com to reserve and their time; photo packages start at $24.99.

La Palmera will also host a special breakfast with the Easter Bunny event on Tuesday, April 2, as part of the monthly Tide Turners Kids Club event for kids 5 and under. Held in Center Court from 10 a.m.–noon, the event is free and includes arts and crafts, games, snacks and more.

The Easter Bunny Cares program for special needs children will be held Sunday, March 31 and April 7, from 9–11 a.m. These events provide a sensory-friendly environment before the mall opens — no fountain, no background music, no crowds — giving those with developmental or physical challenges and their families more time to enjoy quiet one-on-one time for photos with the Easter Bunny. Provided in partnership with Autism Speaks and Cherry Hill Programs, which oversees photo programs at La Palmera, guests can make the required reservations online at lapalmera.com.

Pet lovers can bring their fur babies to one of four “Pet Night with the Easter Bunny” events, each featuring a local animal organization. This year’s events are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, April 2–3 and April 9–10, from 5–8 p.m. Only dogs and cats are permitted, and all animals must remain on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
